Note: Assemblies are equipped with a pressure relief valve and are designed for engines with a max pressure of 350 psi and a max working temp of 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
The 4in filter assemblies are smaller and lighter than the 6in filters. Which makes it easier to mount in tight engine compartments and dragsters. This is also the best choice for dirt track racing, street, marine, and applications where the user wants to filter microscopic and dust particles out of the system. Filter has two Inlets and one Outlet opening that are threaded for #12 o-ring boss fittings. This filter assembly can also be used with a System 1 filter on the bottom using System 1's Chevy threaded bushing. The fluid first flows through the See Through Filter assembly with a Hi-Flow screen which catches the visible particles which can be viewed and inspected. The oil then flows through a System 1 using a finer mesh screen to catch the microscopic particles. Recommended System 1 is the billet pro series, the other System 1 will only use the outside sealing o-ring. The inside one can not be used.
