Gear reduction starter provide high torque for cranking and draws less current than competitor brands. Solenoid is encased in aluminum with air gap ensuring no hot start problems. Has 5 ball bearings instead of bushings. Weight less than 9lbs! One of the few racing starters with a warranty. Chevy offset pattern. Has the larger 2.0kw motor for supercharged and/ or large cubic-inch engines. Fits Chevrolet V8 engines with the large 168 tooth flywheel.
